The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has kick-started the preparation for commemoration of centenary birthday celebration of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on Saturday. In this regard, a meeting was held today at APCC office under chairmanship of
Former Chief Minister, Nabam Tuki, wherein a Centenary Celebration Committee was formed to supervise the series of events to be held all over the state.
The Congress party is looking at commemorating Indira’s political life through a series of events like young woman convention, speech competition and sports competition, extempore speech & debate competitions, gender sensitization camp and self defence training camp and health camp and blocks, plantation programs in all the districts.
