ITANAGAR, Feb 13: Ahead of Prime Minister of India’s visit to Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) trained guns on Chief Minister Pema Khandu led BJP government and the central government on scrapping of various development projects in Arunachal Pradesh.
Speaking to media today, President APCC Takam Sanjoy claimed that as usual the PM will make fake promises to deceive people as he had done in other states.
‘This is his second visit to Arunachal after taking over the office of Prime Minister but he has announced nothing big for the state. Moreover it is an open secret that Pema Khandu led BJP government then Congress members merged to BJP with an expectation of fund flow but till date nothing has been awarded to the state government,’ said Sanjoy.
He further added that all ongoing big projects were by the UPA government led by Dr Manmohan Singh including the Trans Arunachal Highway. Whereas NDA is scraping fund granted under Fourteenth Finance Commission, he alleged.
‘Modi led NDA government has scrapped the industrial policy from Northeast which has affected the budding entrepreneurs,’ Sanjoy said also calling the ‘Act East Policy’ another lip service.
He further claimed there is huge corruption going on in the state under planning department which is issuing work order in crore to various individuals.
