The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has observed the 70th Martyrdom Day of the Father of the Nation – Mahatma Gandhi with full enthusiasm here at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Itanagar on Tuesday. Rich floral tribute was paid to the portrait of Gandhiji as a mark of respect to the great soul.
The members present on the occasion remembered Bapuji as the apostle of peace, who stood for non-violence and made supreme sacrifice in achieving the freedom of our country and pledged to follow his vision.
Vice-President APCC, Minkir Lollen, Ex-Minister, Bida Taku along with NSUI state unit members and staffers of APCC were present on the occasion.
