ITANAGAR, Sep 28:  Chief Minister Pema Khandu, in response to the ongoing three-day dharna organized by the Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC), stated that the state government has already addressed the 13-point demands, which are also in public domain.
Responding to the media, CM Khandu mentioned that if the PAJSC is unclear about the fulfillment of the entire set of points, the state government is ready to meet with the committee to provide clarification and explanation. He urged the committee members to contact the Chief Secretary to arrange a meeting for addressing their doubts.
Regarding the delay in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the APPSC cash-for-job scam, Khandu explained that both agencies are central and not under the jurisdiction of the state government.
"These agencies have their own protocols and approaches to investigations," he said adding "I have instructed the state Director General of Police (DGP) to request the CBI and ED to share any new updates or information from the investigation with the public, to the extent possible." Khandu emphasized that every single point in the demands has been categorically addressed, leaving nothing further to be resolved.
The CM pointed out that investigations take time to reach a positive conclusion, whether it's related to the APPSC cash-for-job scam or the investigations concerning illegal teacher appointments in Changlang and Longding Districts. He stated that for any reports related to corruption or illegality in the state, the state police has been directed to take suo-moto action and register cases accordingly.
Meanwhile, in response to the demands of the All Arunachal Pradesh Divyangjan Beneficiaries Committee (AAPDBC), Khandu emphasized that when the state government announces schemes for the public, it becomes the responsibility of the concerned department to ensure that the beneficiaries benefit from the particular scheme.
Khandu also mentioned that the representation submitted by the AAPDBC has been cleared by the Chief Minister's Office. However, the Chief Secretary will ensure that the matter is addressed as soon as possible.
The PAJSC has repeatedly claimed that the action taken report on their 13-point demands regarding the APPSC cash-for-job scam, issued by the state government, is misleading and merely an attempt to divert public attention from the real issue.
Subsequently, the committee called for a three-day sit-in dharna at IG Park here in the capital. Today marks the last day of the dharna.
Khandu shared these remarks with reporters on the sidelines of the state-level workshop on the Panchayat Development Index (PDI) and Peoples Plan campaign held at the state banquet hall here on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the PAJSC's Three-Day Dharna on APPSC Crisis, ended unanswered as no representatives of the government met the aspirants and communicated with them. Chairman-PAJSC  Techi Puru informed that, they are ready to meet the government but the meeting should be headed by the Chief Minister himself.
"As of now we are withdrawing our dharna, but we expect that the state government won't give us next chance to stage another protest but confer logical solution of the issue," added Puru.
