ITANAGAR, Feb 1:
Governor BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have extended warm greetings to the people of the State, particularly the Mishing and Adi communities on the festive occasion of Ali-Aye-Ligang and Donggin festivals.
I trust that, these festivals coming down from ages and handed down from generation to generation will continue to propagate the rich emotional, cultural and social traditions of the Mishing and Adi Communities, the Governor said in his message.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu has conveyed his greetings on the auspicious occasion of Dongging festival.
While affirming that he joins members of the Adi Bori community in celebration of the festival, Khandu prayed the Almighty for peace, prosperity and wellbeing of all mankind.
