ITANAGAR, Feb 15:The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) while acknowledging the second time visit of PM Narendra Modi’s within a time span of three years by any sitting Prime Minister to Arunachal Pradesh as historic, however termed it a big let down and disappointment in terms of missing out core issues that are paramount to the indigenous people’s survival.

The people of the state were waiting with bated breath that the PM will take cognizance of the five decade long vexed issue of Chakma- Hajong , Assam Arunachal Boundary issue , and other important issues like loopholes in statehood bills, protracted Indo-Naga political issues, revamping of deteriorating education atmosphere in central government controlled education institute in the state etc in his almost hour long deliberation at IG park Itanagar, but unfortunately none of the above cited issues got a mention in his address to the people of Arunachal Pradesh.

The union also termed it most unfortunate that Union MoS for Home, Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister Pema Khandu did not dare to speak up the core issues mentioned above in their respective address before the PM.
