ITANAGAR, Jan 24:Welcoming Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s recent speech to root out corruption at Namsai, the All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) has sought cancellation of all firms registered in the name of kith and kin of Ministers, MLAs and officers citing it as main cause of corruption.
It also urged the CM to issue strong directive to all his Cabinet ministers, Parl Secys not to meddle in any kind of tendering system and not to keep developmental files at their table.
Further the association also called for reintroducing public meeting at CM office, so as to discuss and address grievances of the public, NGOs etc.
