ITANAGAR, Feb 11: In a major setback for the state Bharatiya Janata Party and incumbent Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, at least 197 BJP workers from Lekang Constituency changed loyalty and merged to the Indian National Congress today. ‘Fund in crores is being pumped into Lekang circle for development, relief and rehabilitation. Nao Dehing river has become the sorrow of Lekang which has eroded our land and property but the present representative has never given heed to the voters,’ added the workers.
