Tezu, Jan 22: The first Youth Leadership Training Program of the Art of Living in Lohit district was held at Mount Truth School in Tezu. The initiative of AoL teacher Dinesh Patel for the YLTP saw enthusiastic participation and witnessed successful completion with zero drop out rate. Dinesh Patel, Brahmachari Adipurush and AoL teacher Kirjum Lollen were the resource persons.
Fourteen participants joined the program with the intention to improve leadership skills to serve society alongwith uplifting their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual growth. They engaged in yoga, breath work, meditation, communication skills improvement, personality development and acquired leadership skills through the simple and powerful techniques imparted. They also pledged to volunteer for better India and committed to serve society.
Many participants reported to have immensely benefitted in their physical health conditions while also gaining better control over stress management and time management. In this 7-day training they also noticed positive changes in their quality of sleep, betterment in self confidence, balanced behavioural habits, steady mind control and focussed concentration. Public leaders Gemso Bellai and Biraj Linggi encouraged the program with their presence and by handing over the certificates to the participants.
All the participants and the community appreciated the initiative which is taken by Sri Sri Rural Development Program of the Art of living and the relentless efforts by AoL teacher Dinesh Patel. Patel earlier had also conducted Bal Chetna Shibir for the students of the Apna Vidya Bhavan and the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Wakro.
