ITANAGAR, Aug 24: The Ringu Youth Welfare Association (RYWA) has  resolved to stage democratic movement, aiming to draw attention to the pressing developmental issues of their area that have been neglected by the authority for decades.
In a press  statement, RYWA stated that despite being located merely 18 kilometers away from the Sub-District headquarters of Nyapin and 102 kilometers away from the District Headquarters of Koloriang, Neokhilanghi village has struggled with an acute lack of basic amenities since India's independence in 1947. The villagers have made multiple appeals to the state government to provide essential services such as healthcare, education, road connectivity, and internet access, yet their pleas have largely gone unanswered.
The absence of fundamental resources has left the villagers in a dire situation. Residents are compelled to undertake arduous journeys by foot to procure rations and other necessities. Pregnant women, in particular face tremendous difficulties as they navigate long treks to access medical facilities for checkups and deliveries. The absence of proper healthcare infrastructure has led to untimely deaths, resulting in an unnatural rise in mortality rates among all age groups.
Furthermore, the lack of internet connectivity has impeded the growth and progress of the village and has hindered online education opportunities and e-healthcare services.The youth body said that absence of road connectivity has exacerbated the educational challenges, with children unable to attend schools due to the lack of transportation. 
The villagers' pleas for redressal of their grievances have consistently fallen on deaf ears, further intensifying their frustration and distress. In light of these circumstances, the Ringu Youth Welfare Association (R.Y.W.A) has unanimously decided to launch a democratic movement.
