Narottam Nagar, Dec 20: Revered Swami Jnanavratananda Ji Maharaj, Treasurer, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, inaugurated Yogananda Bhavan, a modern three-storey staff quarters building, at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on Saturday.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with a traditional puja, havan, and the chanting of Vedic hymns, followed by soulful bhajans performed by the institution's students, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
The newly constructed three-storey building provides 1-BHK residential accommodation for 15 GDA staff members and also houses three bachelor dormitories, thereby strengthening residential facilities for staff associated with the institution.
The foundation stone of Yogananda Bhavan was laid on 22 June 2024 by Revered Swami Satyeshananda ji Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission.
The construction of this building marks a significant step in the phase-wise upgradation of the institution’s five-decade-old infrastructure, reaffirming Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar’s commitment to the welfare of its staff and the development of its campus.
Swami Achyuteshananda ji, Secretary of the institution, expressed his gratitude to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and the well-wishers of the Ramakrishna Mission spread across the world, whose generous support made the project possible.
