AALO, Mar 20: All India Radio artistes of 1970 -1980s of the Galo community were felicitated at Gumin Kiin here on March 4 last. Awards were conferred in different categories like GGL Group life time achievement award in lyrics to Mijum Lona for his outstanding contribution towards lyrics of Galo songs, GGL Group Galo Centurion Melodies (GCM) awards to Moge Doji, Jomnya Siram, Goto Ete and Late Marto Kamdak for crossing 100 songs in their singing career, GGL Group Special Recognition Award to Rode Karcho for her outstanding singing contribution specially to Mopin songs including felicitation of 20 more artistes.
