PASIGHAT, Apr 7: On the occasion of World Health Day, a multispecialty health camp was conducted at Depi Village today. World Health Day is an annual event held on 7thApril to commemorate the formation of World Health Organization (WHO) with an objective to generate awareness on pressing health issues and to promote healthy lifestyle. 
The camp was organized jointly by Arunachal Pradesh Doctors Association (APDA), Department of Community Medicine TRIHMS and CHC Ruksin. The camp was inaugurated by Taking Mibang HGB. During the inauguration Dr. Moji Jini, Director of TRIHMS explained the gathering the importance of Health Check-up.He also advised the attending first batch Intern of TRIHMS how to extend helping hand to the villagers. 
Dr. Komling Perme DMO East Siang and also the President of APDA briefed the villagers the importance of lifestyle and to avail the golden opportunity and also requested the attending Specialist to make the camp memorable for the villagers. All specialties under BPGH Pasighat, District Health Society East Siang including Neurologist and Gastroenterologist from TRIHMS attended the camp. Altogether 250 people were benefited with complimentary free medicines and diagnostic.
