NAMSAI, Jul 28:Parliamentary Secretary, Planning, Chow Zingnu Namchoom today inaugurated three buildings constructed under centrally sponsored multi-sectoral development programme (MsDP) at Namsai.

Inaugurating the “Double Storied Working Women Hostel”, Namchoom expressed satisfaction that the single women Government staffers who used to stay in rented houses earlier will not only find accommodation but also companionship of others and can live together like family members in the building.

Also pointing that the building for additional classroom had been one of the long felt needs at Government Higher Secondary School, Lathao, Namchoom reiterated his promise to give top priorities to development of education and health Sector in the district.

DC Namsai, RK Sharma urged the school authorities to properly use and maintain the infrastructure giving utmost attention for its cleanliness.

He urged upon the teachers and students to be disciplined in academic matters and exhorted the parents to share responsibilities in management of school.

Later in the evening, “Additional building of Public Health Center” at Piyong constructed under MsDP was also inaugurated by the Parliamentary Secretary in an impressive public meeting.

While dedicating the three building for public use the Parliamentary Secretary appreciated the executing agency WRD for maintaining the high quality construction of the buildings under centrally sponsored MsDP scheme.--
