Yupia, Jun 5: MLA 14-Doimukh-cum- Advisor to Minister (Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, Dairy Development and Fisheries) Tana Hali Tara inaugurated a wire suspension bridge over Tania Happa river and a new village Nyor Happa in Kakoi circle under Kimin Sub-Division Papum Pare District in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Sachin Rana among others.
In his address to the public in a developmental meeting at Nyor Happa, the MLA said that road development is a priority as it plays key role in bringing all kinds of developmental activities to an area. He informed the public about fund provision placed under PMGSY for development of road connectivity for Nyor and Tanio Happa villages. He also informed the public about upcoming infrastructure developmental schemes in Kakoi circle.
Reiterating the need for maintaining good relations with all government functionaries, Hali advised the public to cooperate with the district administration and work departments by creating a conducive atmosphere for all-round development in the district.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Rana, spoke about the need for protection and preservation of the environment --its flora and fauna for future generations. He also advised the youths to pay more attention to get better education for bright future.
Responding to the memorandum submitted by the public of Tania Happa, the DC assured to look into the matter like lack of teacher quarters, shifting of polling station, drinking water supply etc.
ZPM 16th Kakoi Circle, Tai Sangte and GPC Lower Jumi Panchayat Tarh Yaha also spoke and apprised the dignitaries about the grievances like drinking water, teachers quarter for Primary school at Tania Happa etc.
