AALO, May 24: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi in an elaborate meeting today with the HoDS, NGOs, GWS, Sector and Market Committees here at the Conference Hall of DC's office took stock of the district’s Covid-19 preparedness and related issues.
Exhorting all stakeholders to work in a coordinated manner and make sure there is no communication gap, the DC assured to take up the important issues put forth by the participants. Lockdown situation may arise if the surge touches 10 %, he said. The SP briefed on policing activities during the pandemic and stressed on feedback from infected areas to strengthen vigil on maintenance of SOPs. The DMO and the DSO spelt out the status of Covid-19 cases and vaccination in the district. 
Representatives from various organisations highlighted the steps needed to control the virus and expressed concern over the sudden surge of cases in the district to 8 %. DIPRO
