AALO, Sep 25:  The West Siang District police arrested a drug peddler and seized 8.5 grams of suspected heroin.
On September 22, information was received from a reliable source that a person, one Horda Jini was selling contraband at Piyi area of the town.
Upon receiving the information, SP Abhimanyu Poswal, IPS constituted a police team which apprehended the peddler.
Suspected heroin weighing 8.5 grams with estimated market value of Rs 70,000, sales proceed of Rs 251990 was also seized among other things. A case under NDPS Act has been registered.
