AALO, Sep 6: A sensitization and awareness program on Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act 2012 (POCSO) and Protection of Women from Sexual harassment work at workplace was conducted at the DC's Conference Hall, Aalo.
Bahi Koyu CDPO i/c Dy. Director ICDS  highlighted the aims and objective of the awareness meeting. 
Deputy Commissioner of West Siang District, Penga Tato while chairing the meeting urged all the private and government schools to engage the lady teachers as warden of girls hostels. He also asked the DDSE to monitor private schools to see to it. During the meeting the DC urged all to be aware of the POCSO Act 2012 and protection of women from sexual harrasment in work place.
