WANGHOO, Jan 18: The villagers of Wanghoo,West Kameng organized "Kshyat  Shabho" an age old tradition of mass prayers for good health, cultivation and prosperity of the villagers.
ADC, Singchung -Mokar Riba, ZPM- Singchung-Rekha Marphew along with other dignitaries also attended the event.
While narrating about the mass prayers, Phabi (local priest) informed that  Wanghoo villagers are organising  the "Kshyat Shabho"  a community prayer for more than 100 years for the well being of the villagers, and good cultivation.
He also informed that every year villagers organize prayers for at least seven days but due to COVID restrictions ,this year it has been curtailed to a day.
Besides, prayers, folk dances, rituals and community feast was also organised.
