Bomdila, Mar 31: Deputy Commissioner of West Kameng district, Dr. Dilip Kumar, formally launched the Potential Linked Credit Plan (PLP) for 2026–27 prepared by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), outlining the district’s priority sector credit roadmap for the upcoming financial year.
The launch programme was attended by Dr. Passang Norbu, District Development Consultant (DDC), NABARD, West Kameng; Jyoti Prasad Das, Lead District Manager, West Kameng; and Henmar Taipodia, District Planning Officer.
As per the PLP 2026–27, the total credit potential under the priority sector in the district has been estimated at ₹313.10 crore. The agriculture and allied sector have been projected at ₹30.95 crore, while the MSME sector accounts for a major share with ₹280.37 crore. The remaining ₹1.78 crore has been projected under other priority sectors, including education, housing, export, renewable energy, and social infrastructure.
The PLP serves as a guiding document for banks and stakeholders to align credit flow with the developmental needs and potential of the district.(DIPRO)
