Bomdila, Feb 28: To ensure the smooth conduct of the election process in West Kameng District, the office of the District Election Commissioner conducted a one-day training session on the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), Election Expenditure Monitoring (EEM), and Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) - Paid News at the Kameng Club of Bomdila. 
District Election Officer (DEO) Bomdila, Akriti Sagar, while attending the session, appealed to all the participants and officials involved in election duties to take their roles and responsibilities seriously.
"There is no room for errors; all must thoroughly familiarize themselves with the rule books, guidelines, and educational videos issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI)," she added. 
If there is any confusion, it must be consulted with the respective Returning Officers (ROs). 
Sagar also warned against skipping the election training, stating that strict action would be taken against absentees. 
She also appealed to the participants not to lose their patience while performing election duties and to deal with every situation tactfully. 
District Level Master Trainer (DLMT) Rinchin KhanduThongchi narrated the functions, duties, and roles of MCC, EEM, and MCMC-Paid Media through a PowerPoint (PPT) presentation. 
Participants also shared their election experiences and cleared their doubts with the DLMT.
