BOMDILA, Nov 24: A coordination meeting to fine-tune the preparations of the District Level Management Team (DLMT) for the upcoming PR election was held today here at the DC’s conference hall under chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (PR), West Kameng Karma Leki.
Urging the Nodal Officers of the DLMT to perform their assigned election duties with utmost sincerity to make PR elections successful in the district, the DC-cum-DEO stressed on implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in letter and spirit. While reminding that all government employees are now technically under control of the State Election Commission after coming into effect of the MCC, he asked them to avoid indulging in any unlawful activity. The medical team was also instructed to make arrangements for a separate COVID room to keep the symptomatic duty personnel, if any during the election process. 
ADC Headquarter-cum-District Panchayat Development Officer Sang Kandu explained the role of Nodal officers in the election process and informed that district level training of Master Trainers, Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) will start from November 26.
The issues pertaining to foot-march polling stations, shadow polling stations and sensitive polling zones were discussed with the SP. Besides the nodal officers, COs, Admin. Officers, HoDs and other officials attended the meeting. DIPRO
