BOMDILA, Jul 14: In an effort to enhance the beauty of Bomdila township and discourage deforestation, the West Kameng District Administration in collaboration with the Lower Gompa, Bomdila, organized a large-scale social service and plantation drive. The event took place at Mani Park, Bomdila, as well as various strategic locations within the township.
Leading the initiative was Deputy Commissioner Akriti Sagar, Padma Shree Guru Tulku Rinpoche, esteemed Lamas, heads of departments and officials, who actively participated in the event.
As part of the event, Guru Tulku Rinpoche, led a holistic prayer for the well-being of the participants and the success of the initiative.
During the event, a variety of plants, including Star Anise (Lishi), cypress, maple, and many others, were planted. (DIPRO)
