AALO, May 3: The Aalo Town Peoples’ Welfare and Development Society (ATPWDS) led by its Chairman Kento Ete and the Alumni Association of Government Higher Secondary School, Aalo led by its President Gego Doji on Saturday visited the school to take stock of the problems faced by teachers and students.
While stating the importance of the school which is one of the oldest in undivided Siang and its enviable record in producing many stalwarts, the ATPWDS Chairman observed that the 50-year old infrastructure of hostels, classrooms and other amenities have gone obsolete. ATPWDS will liaise with all concerned to address the problems faced by Darka village also, he added. Principal, GHSS, Aalo Hormo Ete and Vice principal Lona disclosed the school is facing a host of problems despite the fact that many of them have been raised with the concerned authorities in the past too.
The Alumni Association President spelt out their efforts made for the school’s betterment. DIPRO
