PASIGHAT, Aug 11: A webinar on career, scope and importance of the profession of Physical Education was organized here on Monday by the Arunachal Pradesh Physical Education Association (APPEA) which was participated by the degree holders in Physical Education from across the nation.
APPEA Secretary General, Thomas Ering informed that among prominent professionals, HoD of Physical Education, RGU Dr. Anil Mili, Assistant Professor in the department Dr. Tadang Minu, Joint Secretary of Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) Dr. Sharad Kumar Sharma and General Secretary, Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) Dr.  Piyush Jain attended the webinar.
Discussions focussed on scope and career progression in the profession like Assistant District Sports Officer (ADSO), Physical Education Teacher (PET) at PGT and TGT levels, Assistant Director, Deputy Director, Director in colleges and universities and District and State Youth Officer etc. DIPRO
