ITANAGAR, May 24: The PHE&WS Sub-Division, Naharlagun, has notified consumers residing in the Polo Colony area, D sector, and transport colony, about a major damage to the main DI 200mm pipeline. The pipeline has been compromised at the bridge point between Naharlagun-G Extension and Polo Colony. The department has promptly mobilized resources and personnel to restore the pipeline, but it is estimated to take approximately one week to resume normal water supply to these sectors.
To mitigate the inconvenience faced by residents during this period, the department has arranged for water tankers to serve the affected areas. Consumers are urged to bear with the department during this time as efforts are made to rectify the issue and restore regular water supply.
