Kanubari, Dec 16: Gabriel D. Wangsu, Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Fisheries, Legal Metrology & Consumer Affairs and Food & Civil Supply who conducted a detailed inspection of various critical developmental projects in Longding district concluded his 3-day visit today.
During his whirlwind tour of the district, the Minister visited Luktham under Zedua village of Longding and identified a site for the proposed District Veterinary Office-cum-Dispensary. 
Wangsu directed the officers of concerned departments to expedite the preparatory work for the project and also instructed them to design the project with future expansion and additional setups in mind to ensure long-term functionality and efficiency.
The inspection was attended by Dr. Mitek Tarang, Veterinary Officer for Longding, and Nani Ranka, Assistant Engineer of WRD, Longding. Both officials provided technical inputs during the site review.
Wangsu, who is also MLA of Kanubari, reviewed land accessibility for establishing a market shed dedicated to the women folk of Wanu village. He further took stock of the ongoing major development projects at New Kanubari, where significant construction work for hospital, quarters and offices of various departments is underway. 
Additionally, he identified a site for a proposed Krishi Kendra tocater to the agriculture and all allied departments at New Kanubari.
The minister stressed on the importance of following the master plan for the area and instructed executing agencies to adhere strictly to government protocols and standards during its execution. He stressed the need for timely and efficient completion of projects to benefit the local population.  
Later the minister also inspected the site for construction of an emporium and took stock of major renovation works of ADC’s residence and office besides the ongoing works of the sports hub at Kanubari.
The Minister was accompanied by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), SDPOs of Longding and Kanubari, HoDs from various departments and representatives from the construction firm.
