Itanagar, Jan 24: Biyuram Wahge, Minister of Health & Family Welfare launched the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council web portal arunapmc.org today in presence Dr Mohesh Chai, MLA cum Advisor to the Minister (Health & Family Welfare) and Executive Council Members of APMC.
The Minister congratulated the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council (APMC) for developing the web portal and acknowledged that the launch for doctor’s registration marks a significant step towards enhancing the healthcare system in our state, fostering transparency, efficiency, and accessibility for the medical fraternity. The digital platform will serve as one-stop platform which will provide doctors with easy access to essential information, resources, and services, ensuring a seamless experience for registration, renewal of registration, professional updates and other services. The Minister also remarked that it goes in line with Ministry’s commitment to improving healthcare services. This initiative also aims to ensure that the medical practitioners of Arunachal Pradesh are well-regulated, upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalism.
In the keynote address delivered by Dr Mika Umpo, Registrar cum Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council he informed that the doctors of modern medicine (allopath) in the state can now apply for fresh registration, provisional registration, renewal of registration, NOC and other services online. Those organization seeking accreditation of various CME, workshops, conference organized by them will also be in online mode, he said. He further informed that no offline registration of doctors will be done from now on.
