ITANAGAR, Jan 27: As part of Budget Announcement, the Department of Youth Affairs organized the first edition of ‘Battle of Minds”, an inter school quiz competition for students of class 11 & 12, at DK convention hall on Sunday. This competition saw participation of 53 teams at prelims level with only 8 teams making it to the semifinals.
The 1st edition Battle of Minds 2025 was won by Bengia Tachung and Leyu Bengge Ruji representing VKV Nirjuli; 1st runner up Jummik Ete and Deri Ragyum Gyadu, represented Good Shepherd Public School, Pappu Nallah while the 2nd runner up Lalu Bayang and Napchu Yangfo represented GHSS, Seppa. Winners received mementoes including cash prizes of Rupees 1 lakh, Rupees Eighty Thousand and Rupees Fifty Thousand respectively.
The programme was attended by Chief Secretary Manish Kumar Gupta as chief guest including Director, Human Resource Development and Employment (NEC), Bamin Tarang.
