ITANAGAR, Dec 6: The Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Alumni Association (VKVAA),  while expressing shock, has condemned the abduction of its  alumni  Bittem Darang, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Rupa.
We strongly condemn such acts. The accused should be punished as per the strictest provisions of the law so that such heinous crimes are discouraged in the future and government employees can work without any fear or intimidation to his/her life, stated the VKVAA.
The Association also appreciated the  SP –West Kameng , SP East Kameng and the police teams for promptly apprehending and tracing the kidnappers. 
We strongly urge all the communities of Arunachal Pradesh to sensitize the youths and reject such kind of activities and we should stay united in condemning such acts, stated VKVAA in its statement.
