ITANAGAR, Jul 31:Alleging violation of Recruitment rules (RR) in the recent interview conducted by education department for recruitment of Tours & Travels Teacher (TTT) under RMSA, few aspiring candidates have demanded Deputy Commissioner, East Siang to cancel the appointment order and re-conduct the interviews.

In a complaint letter duly signed by seven candidates, it is informed that out of many applicants who applied for TTT post recently, twenty seven candidates were shortlisted to appear for the interview.

However surprisingly another three candidates were handpicked from the rejected list without any notice whereas the list of candidates to appear in the interview was already finalized and notified, the letter said. However from the now 30 candidates, only two candidates were passed, it further alleged.

But just to accommodate all the vacant post of nine, the interviewers allegedly passed seven more from the rejected list candidates, thereby depriving the others, it added.

Citing foul play in the whole recruitment process, the candidates has alleged that few of the candidates who appeared for the exam were also distributed Xeroxed question paper, but interviewer withdrew it later, which indicates tampering, the letter said.

Further the candidates have requested the DC to initiate action against the issue otherwise they will be compelled to resort to democratic movement for justice.
