PASIGHAT, Apr 12: An awareness campaign on rural savings was organized today by the Office of Small Savings at interior Bodak village, few kilometres from the East Siang headquarters Pasighat.
Field Publicity Officer Okep Megu speaking on the occasion apprised the villagers regarding various schemes of small savings and the advantages of becoming a rural savings agent. The village president who is also a senior citizen Tanggom Tayeng while appreciating the organizers said that more awareness campaigns should be organized to educate the villagers on small savings. 
Treasury Officer cum Ex officio District Small Savings Officer Tigul Megu, President and Secretary of the Bodak village, SHGs and other villagers attended the programme.
