PASIGHAT, Mar 19: The PBBK (Pertin Bodum Baane Kebang) today offered warm reception to the newly inducted Vice Chancellor (VC) of Arunachal State University Dr. Tomo Riba and his better half at the university campus at Pasighat. The President PBBK Apex Bijoy Pertin and Women Wing (ANE OBAK) President Oming Jamoh Pertin along with senior citizens and executive members met and extended warm welcome to the newly inducted VC of the state government’s lone and first university.
The representatives of the clan welfare organization expressed hope that with the new VC, peaceful environment and eco-friendly campus will result in a well-rounded educational experience.
“We are confident that the University will provide every student with ample opportunities of growth through inter-curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities," they stated adding that the State University will soon become a ‘centre of educational excellence’ under the dynamism of Prof Dr. Riba with the optimum potential to nurture independent thinkers and most importantly good human beings to a well-trained human capital.
An overwhelmed Prof. Riba on the occasion stated that in his journey as Vice-Chancellor of this prestigious University, he finds himself well-equipped to take up all challenges towards streamlining all aspects and aspirations in a desirably better direction.
