YINGKIONG, Aug 3: The District Health Society Upper Siang District conducted District Task Force for Immunization (DFTI) meeting on Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 5.0 cum coordination meeting on National Deworming Day (NDD) and Intensified Diarrhoeal Control Fortnight (IDCF) to review and discuss about proper implementation of all programmes in the district at Yingkiong today.
The meeting was chaired by DC i/c Additional Deputy Commissioner (Hq) Yingkiong, Dochora Lama. While speaking to the participants, Lama appreciated the work done by the health officials besides urging upon all to work harder to improve further the performance of the district.
District Medical Officer Dr.Moli Riba also requested line departments like Education and WCD to provide the enrolment status of schools and Anganwadi centres and MO i/cs to liaise with local administration and school authorities for proper cover up during IMI, NDD and IDCF programmes.
Earlier, Medical Officer RI Dr. Nabho Borang and DRCHO Dr.Andeng Sitek gave power presentation on IMI 5.0 Microplan target and preparation of block and Ppt on National Deworming Day and IDCF respectively.
