ITANAGAR, Mar 16: Reiterating its ten point charter of demand, Galo Students Union has sought the intervention of Chief Minister Pema Khandu on immediate functioning of Lower Siang District, creation of Leppa Rada District as well as posting of adequate Medical staff, equipment at general hospital Aalo, posting of subject teachers in various schools of West Siang, introduction of science steam in Donyi Polo Government College Kamki and others. Further, the union has threatened to call phase wise democratic movement in all the Galo inhabited areas, starting off with a 24 hour bandh on March 27 next.
