PASIGHAT, Jul 13: Union MoS of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kailash Choudhary took stock of the implementation of central government schemes for farmers in the agriculture and allied sectors at the grassroot level in Arunachal Pradesh in a meeting with various stakeholders at the Conference Hall of College of Horticuture & Forestry(CHF) here on Tuesday. The meeting was also attended by Minister Agricuture, Tage Taki, MP, Tapir Gao,BJP Kisan Morcha President Dunggoli Libang, National General Secretary of BJP Kisan Morcha , Dr. Shambu Kumar , Dean CHF, Dr.B.N. Hazarika ,ICAR & KVK officials among others. The Union MoS for Agriculture also gave away cattle feeds in a Cattle Demonstration and Feed Distribution program for increasing farmers income under North East Hill Region (NEH )component.
The Union MoS also reviewed the performance of KVKs, ( Krishi Vigyan Kendras), ICAR in the state and the institutions under Central Agriculture University.
