SAGALEE, Apr 19: A decomposed body of an unknown person was found in the Pare River near Mep Soro Village under Sagalee sub-division, Papumpare district on Wednesday, according to local authorities. The body was discovered by a group of local fishermen in the morning.
Police officials have reported that the body was in an advanced state of decomposition, making it difficult to determine the individual's identity or cause of death. The body was dressed in blue jeans and appeared to be that of a male between the ages of 30-40 years old.
The body has been transferred to the RKMH morgue, Itanagar for further examination and authorities are asking anyone with information about a missing person to come forward. Investigation is ongoing and authorities are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to contact the police.
