ITANAGAR, Feb 23: In an exemplary corporate gesture, M/s TK Engineering Consortium Limited has gifted the villagers of Rottung under East Siang District a completed 3 kilometre long non-pitched agricultural road recently thus making transportation of men and materials convenient for the progressive farmers engaged in cultivation of crops like large cardamom, ginger, turmeric and other spices.

The agricultural road which was constructed with the assistance of M/s TK Engineering Consortium Limited was completed in a record 2 months time and has connected the prime Pamuk agricultural area having more than 1000 hectares of land under Rottung village territory.

As a mark of gratitude the road has been dedicated as TK Road by the villagers of Rottung Village and was inaugurated by SE, PWD, Er Ratu Techi, Capital Circle cum Adviser, M/s T K Engineering Consortium Private Limited  in a small programme recently at Rottung.

Speaking on the occasion, Techi also announced financial support for general village welfare from the company’s side and assured support to the villagers in every possible way in the future also.

In his address, Nalong Mize, (BJP State Media Secretary) Mentor and Adviser of the Farmers Group hailed the noble gesture of TK Engineering as a trendsetter in corporate social responsibility by a local private firm in the State.  He congratulated the firm for setting a fine example for private firms to follow in community development activities in their project sites in the State.

Tajir Siram, senior leader of the Farmers Group profusely thanked Er. Ratu Techi, and all the other executives for their kind support.

Local head Gaon Bura, Taku Siram and Anchal Samiti Member Tageng Taki also spoke on the occasion.
