KHONSA, May 5: The Assam Rifles of DAO Divison on Friday carried out a major operation in the south Khonsa area and successfully apprehended two hardcore terrorists of NSCN (K)—self styled Lieutenant Wanphai Wangsa and self styled Coporal Kekho Homku.

The militants were nabbed with 9mm and 7.65mm Pistols with live ammunition. The duo reportedly were involved in illegal extortion activities and various nefarious activities in the area.
