ITANAGAR, Sep 1: Acting on a complaint received on 9th July last from a woman that she was robbed by two boys at Vivek Vihar, Itanagar the previous day, the capital police arrested two culprits from Zero Point Itanagar on Wednesday.
After receiving the complaint on 9th July last, immediately, a criminal case u/s 392/34 IPC was registered at Itanagar Police Station. Team of police comprising of SDPO K. Sikom, Inspector Simi, Inspector O. Ronrang, Ct. B. Medhi, Ct. B. Tani and Ct. Polo Tallo was formed under the supervision of SP Jimmy Chiram and the investigation was carried out, informed the police in a press statement.
The stolen mobile phone has been recovered as per the disclosure statements made by the culprits. The motorcycle which had been used for the commission of the robbery has also been recovered and seized, added the SP.
