CHONGKHAM, Sep 1: A distressing situation has unfolded in Momong village under Chongkham Circle, where two minors, Chow Yotna Jenow (15) and Chow Lisang Singthi (11), have been missing since August 25 last. Their worried family is seeking assistance from authorities and the public to ensure the safe return of the missing children.
The children's mother, Nokmi Jenow, informed that the duo may have embarked on a boat towards Sadiya in Assam. A significant clue came to light when the boat they reportedly took, their clothes were found, though there has been no sign of the children in the nearby vicinity, she added.
We have already filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the Chongkham police station. However, as of now, there have been no significant developments in the case, she lamented.
Nokmi Jenow, with tears in her eyes, issued a heartfelt appeal to both the Arunachal Police, Assam Police, and the general public for their assistance in locating her missing children. She pleads with anyone who may have seen or heard anything related to the minors to come forward and provide information that could lead to their safe return.
The contact numbers for sharing information are 9233495914 and 7630961843. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of the two children are urged to call these numbers immediately, pleaded the mother.
