Itanagar, Mar 31: The much-anticipated Final Round of the 20th Tadar Tang State Level Football Tournament (TTSLFT) 2025 is set to commence on April 1, bringing together the top 13 teams from across Arunachal Pradesh. After an intense Zonal Round, these teams have emerged victorious and will now battle for the prestigious championship title.
The tournament, organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA), is the state’s most prestigious football event, providing a platform for top district teams to showcase their talent. The Final Round promises high-quality football, with each team vying for glory and an opportunity to etch their name in Arunachal’s football history.
The Final Round will feature thirteen teams divided into four groups. Group A consists of Lower Dibang Valley, Keyi Panyor, and Capital Complex. Group B includes East Kameng, West Siang, and Namsai. Group C will see Changlang, Kra Daadi, and Siang competing, while Group D features defending champions Papum Pare alongside Bichom, Lower Subansiri, and East Siang.
With defending champions Papum Pare entering the fray, the competition is set to reach new heights as they look to retain their title against strong challengers. Every team has displayed exceptional skill and determination in the Zonal Round, and the Final Round promises intense battles, thrilling moments, and unforgettable performances.
The tournament will be held at a prime venue, with fans expected to turn out in large numbers to support their teams. Lower Dibang Valley to meet Keyi Panyor in the opening match of the tournament tomorrow. Meanwhile, Papum Pare will play against Bichom in the second match. Last match of the day will see West Siang locking horns against East Kemeng.
Formal Inaugural Ceremony is scheduled to start at 6 PM evening of the first day.
