ITANAGAR, Aug 17:A truck driver miraculously escaped unhurt, when the truck he was driving reportedly skidded off and fell into the deep gorge on National Highway 415 near Shiv Mandir, few kilometres away from Itanagar.

According to police reports, the accident took place at around4pm on Wednesday evening when the driver of the truck failed to negotiate the long turn and lost control of the vehicle.

However the driver is reportedly safe and received only minor injuries.

The Truck bearing registration No-AS 01 EC 5191 was carrying furniture, paints, JCB oil etc and was plying to Naharlagun to deliver the goods to customers.
