ITANAGAR, May 22: Arunachal Pradesh Tour Operators Association in collaboration with Department of Tourism is organizing the XII APTOA Travel Congress-2018 on the theme ‘Reckoning Arunachal Beckoning Arunachal’ at Assembly Auditorium on May 25 next.
Speaking to reporters at Press Club today, President APTOA John Panye opined that during the daylong travel congress many national operators from different segments like Adventure Tour Operators Association of India, Indian Association of Tour Operators, Bombay Nature Heritage Society and other renowned members will join the programme.
Elaborating more on the event, Panye said ‘Arunachal has immense scope in tourism that needs to be explored on mission mode and maintained as well as the rich age old tradition and culture preserved. Moreover, Tourism is not only limited to exploring different areas but it also helps in generating employment and encourage entrepreneurship and so during the daylong travel congress various resource persons will throw light on such important issues,’ he added.
Now our state is connected with both Air and railways we have many more scope to offer to tourists. So we appeal the authorities to relax the Restricted Area Permit and PAP with single window clearance, he added.
