KHONSA, May 28:  A day long training programme on Energy and Conservation was conducted by Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA) today at Khonsa.

 Speaking on the occasion as Chief Guest, Deputy Commissioner, Tirap District, PN Thungon stressed on the importance of adopting conservation and efficient use of energy in our daily lives in view of global warming. He motivated the gathering by saying “changes start from individuals”.

ZPC Sontung Bangsia who was also Guest of honour on the occasion also spoke.

 The day long training programme was attended by various officers and officials from different department, Students from RKSM, Khonsa,

The training programme was sponsored by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
