PASIGHAT, Sep 2:  Fourteen  Trainee Officers of the 98th  Foundation course  from Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration  (LBSNAA),Mussoorie  who  are  in East Siang as part of their Field Study  & Research programme  to rural areas have  completed their weeklong field study  today and shared their experiences and feedback during a debriefing meeting with Deputy Commissioner East Siang Tayi Taggu , SP Sumit Kumar Jha and HoDs of development departments.
The field study involved Kebang system, customary practice, arts and crafts,livelihood pattern,land and agriculture,role of Panchayati Raj, ongoing central flagship programmes and interactions with PRIs, GBs and beneficiaries, youth,students, SHGs, farmers,Village Secretaries.
East Siang DC  commended the keen interest  shown by the Trainee officers to  get a first hand experience about the impact of various development projects  in the lives of the rural populace and regarding the expectations and aspirations of the people  and exposure  on  the rich culture and heritage.  He hoped that these grassroot experiences will help them understand and serve the people of India in the best possible way. The DC also highlighted the major thrust areas of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh viz. e -office initiative, health,education and sports sector to channelize the energy of the youth.
SP  East Siang,Sumit Kumar Jha also appreciated their thorough documentation of the field visits on every development aspect.
Earlier, each Trainee shared their observations  and feedback gained after their visits to schools, heath centres  etc, adding that their interactions with beneficiaries of government schemes, women SHGs, GBs, youth, students, teachers, ASHAS, farmers  and members of the village community was helpful in their field study & documentation process.  The rich culture and tradition, artistic skills in handloom and handicrafts have really impressed us, they said. 
The team also visited zero-waste Siluk Village in East Siang. The Trainee Officers who were stationed in Kiyit and Motum Village during their stay, said that they were touched by the simplicity, warm hospitality of the people  and will be taking back warm memories of the people, cooperation of the District Administration of East Siang  and Arunachal Pradesh.
