ITANAGAR, Jul 18:  At least 45 kg of  tobacco products worth Rs fifty thousand collected from the visitors was disposed off  today by the officials of Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat.
On the occasion, Deputy Secretary, APCS(Administration ) C K Gohain stated  that the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat campus has been declared as tobacco-free zone despite and as such huge quantities  of tobacco products  had been seized from the visitors  during  the checking process  at  the entrance gate. “We appeal all the officers, officials and guests who visit  the secretariat for official purposes not to carry tobacco products with them,” urged Gohain.
Under Secretary (SA) K Gamoh, Under Secretary GA  Okang Perme, and Security Officer of AP Secretariat were also present during the disposing  of the tobacco products. Newsdesk
