TUTING, Dec 28: The Tuting Memba Welfare Society (TMWS), a community based organization of Memba community has mourned the demise of its President, Tsering Phuntso, who died in a road accident on December 25 last near Mosing village under Tuting Sub-Division, Upper Siang District.
Late Phuntso, 53, is survived by his wife, and four children. He was  serving as Block Education Officer (BEO) and was  the first president of TMWS.
He was the great visionary community based organisation leader of memba community who contributed a lot for the all round development of the areas and will be always remembered by the people of Upper Siang District in particular, the Society said in a statement today.
