Khonsa, Oct 28: The District Disaster Management Plan (DDMP) 2025 for Tirap District was officially released by Deputy Commissioner Techu Aran. The plan provides a comprehensive framework for disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery, aiming to enhance the district's resilience and ensure coordinated action during emergencies.
The program was attended by the District Disaster Management Officer Emily Tingkhatra, Heads of Departments, personnel from the State Disaster Response Force, and staff from the District Disaster Management Office.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the collaborative efforts of all departments and emphasized the importance of proactive planning and community participation in building a disaster-resilient Tirap District.
