ITANAGAR, Dec 30: The Special Investigation Cell (SIC) arrested three more people including government officials in connection with the cash-for-job scam in the APPSC.
SP (SIC) Anant Mittal(IPS) in a press statement informed that the three accused arrested on December 29 last, are Hanggung Yaying (52), Matin Yaying (27) Horticulture Development Officer(HDO) Pakke Kesang and Obur Jerang(28) TGT, GHSS Koyu.
The entire arrests were made on the basis of the case registered under SIC (VIG) C/No.12/2022, U/S 120(B)/420/406/409 IPC R/W Sec.7/8/13 (2) PC Act, 1988. After the arrest of three more accused, the total arrested accused by SIC has reached up to 37.
“The investigation into the case is ongoing, and all facts of the case are being investigated in detail. All legal formalities and norms of professionalism are being maintained during the investigation,” stated the SP, adding that SIC is committed to ensuring justice for the aggrieved.
